     Richard Henry Powell was the son of Henry Pryor Powell.1 He married Barbara Frances Courthope, daughter of Lt.-Col. George John Courthope and Elinor Sarah Loyd, on 9 November 1910.1 He died on 9 May 1915, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1
