     Annette Ward Ward-Boughton-Leigh is the daughter of Reverend Bridgeman George Fanshawe Cotterell Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Mary Helena Jenkins.¹

     Cotterell Egerton Ward-Boughton-Leigh was born on 19 April 1858.¹ He was the son of Reverend Theodosius Egerton Boughton Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Elizabeth Cotterell.¹ He died on 13 August 1933 at age 75.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹

     John Hugh Ward Ward-Boughton-Leigh was born on 29 February 1860.¹ He was the son of Reverend Theodosius Egerton Boughton Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Elizabeth Cotterell.¹ He married Alice Mary Herrick, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Benjamin Bousfield Herrick, on 1 June 1892.¹ He died on 24 October 1924 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹

     Alice Mary Herrick was born circa 1860.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Benjamin Bousfield Herrick.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Peyton d'Estoteville Skipwith, 10th Bt., son of Sir Thomas George Skipwith, 9th Bt. and Jane Moore, on 5 February 1879.³ She married, secondly, John Hugh Ward Ward-Boughton-Leigh, son of Reverend Theodosius Egerton Boughton Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Elizabeth Cotterell, on 1 June 1892.¹ She died on 20 March 1947.¹
     From 5 February 1879, her married name became Skipwith. From 1 June 1892, her married name became Ward-Boughton-Leigh.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Benjamin Bousfield Herrick was born circa 1826 at Mallow, County Cork, Ireland.² He married Harriet Ellen S. Fenwick in 1879 at Lewisham, Kent, England.² He died in June 1912.²
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.¹

     George William Platt was born in 1827 at Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England.¹ He married Margaret Wingate Dunn on 12 March 1863 at Logie, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Egerton Ward-Boughton-Leigh was born on 2 November 1897.¹ He was the son of John Hugh Ward Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Alice Mary Herrick.¹ He married, firstly, Helen Bendelari, daughter of Fred Bendelari, on 19 September 1927.¹ He and Helen Bendelari were divorced in 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Noeline Cyprienne Catherine Ancram Hare Waller-Bridge, daughter of Reverend Horace FitzHenry Waller-Bridge and Elsie Noëline Waller Ward-Boughton-Leigh, on 19 December 1952.¹ He died on 27 May 1960 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards.¹
