     Maj.-Gen. Charles John Wallace was born on 6 February 1890.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Robert Wallace of Busbie and Matilda Marion Christie Campbell.2 He married Helen Elizabeth Swinnerton Dyer, daughter of Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 11th Bt. and Dona Edith McGrigor, on 20 January 1932.1 He died on 20 December 1943 at age 53, while on active service.2
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches six times.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI in 1938.2 He fought in the Second World War, in Europe.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Highland Light Infantry.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1941.2

Iona Mary Adelaide Hope Bosville Macdonald was born on 1 December 1886.1 She was the daughter of Ronald Archibald Bosville Macdonald, 6th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Louisa Jane Hamilton Ross.1 She married Rt. Rev. Norman MacLean, son of Kenneth MacLean, on 3 April 1929.1 She died on 1 February 1972 at age 85, without issue.1
     Her married name became MacLean.

     Rt. Rev. Norman MacLean was the son of Kenneth MacLean.1 He married Hon. Iona Mary Adelaide Hope Bosville Macdonald, daughter of Ronald Archibald Bosville Macdonald, 6th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Louisa Jane Hamilton Ross, on 3 April 1929.1 He died on 15 January 1952.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Chaplain to HM King George VI.1

     Dona Edith McGrigor was the daughter of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle.2 She married Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 11th Bt., son of Sir Swinnerton Halliday Dyer, 10th Bt. and Helen Maria Croker, on 21 January 1886.1 She died on 3 February 1909.1
     From 21 January 1886, her married name became Dyer.

     Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 May 1811.1 He was the son of Sir James McGrigor, 1st Bt. and Mary Grant.2 He married Elizabeth Anne Nickle, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Nickle, on 17 November 1850.1 He died on 13 January 1890 at age 78.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet McGrigor, of Campden Hill, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1831] on 2 April 1858.1

     Sir Charles Bird Locock, 3rd Bt. was born on 22 November 1878.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Brodie Locock, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Bird Pitman.2 He married Christine Maria Bennett, daughter of Frederick Bennett, on 13 June 1901.1 He died on 18 September 1965 at age 86.3
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Locock [U.K., 1857] on 9 January 1890.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.3

     Claire Catlow is the daughter of Captain Thomas Noel Catlow and Jean Meriel Nuttall.1,2 She married Godfrey James Macdonald, 8th Baron Macdonald of Slate, son of Alexander Godfrey Macdonald, 7th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Anne Whitaker, on 14 June 1969.1
     From 14 June 1969, her married name became Macdonald. After her marriage, Claire Catlow was styled as Baroness Macdonald of Slate on 29 November 1970. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 2014.2
