     Sir Joseph John Jarvis, 1st Bt. was born on 25 March 1876.² He was the son of Joseph Charles Jarvis and Caroline Cannell.² He married Bessie Woodfield, daughter of Edwin Woodfield, on 10 September 1901.² He died on 3 October 1950 at age 74.²
