     Sir Thomas Hildebrand Preston, 6th Bt. was born on 2 June 1886.¹ He was the son of William Thomas Preston and Alice Mary Stevens.² He married Ella Henrietta von Shickandantz, daughter of Friedrich von Shickandantz, on 3 October 1913.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Ecole des Sciences Politiques, Paris, France^G.¹ He was educated at München Universität, Munich, Bavaria, Germany^G.¹ He was Chargé d'Affaires for Lithuania between 1930 and 1940.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1934.¹ He was Minister for Lithuania between 1940 and 1941.¹ He was Counsellor to the Embassy between 1941 and 1948 at Cairo, Egypt^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Preston, of Beeston St. Lawrence, Norfolk [U.K., 1815] on 7 December 1963.¹ He wrote the book Before the Curtain.¹

     Gertrude Frances Crofts Preston is the daughter of William Thomas Preston and Alice Mary Stevens.² She married Bertie Bowman Barton, son of Bowman Barton, on 9 December 1909.¹
     From 9 December 1909, her married name became Barton.

     Bowman Barton lived at Botcherby Grange, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Bertie Bowman Barton was the son of Bowman Barton.² He married Gertrude Frances Crofts Preston, daughter of William Thomas Preston and Alice Mary Stevens, on 9 December 1909.¹ He died on 30 November 1917, killed in action.¹
     He was admitted to Inner Temple.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Violet Madge Preston is the daughter of William Thomas Preston and Alice Mary Stevens.² She married Captain Cyril Gascoigne Lloyd, son of Major Henry John Greame Lloyd and Caroline Emily Peter-Hoblyn, on 12 April 1928.¹
     From 12 April 1928, her married name became Lloyd.

     Major Henry John Greame Lloyd was born on 6 June 1862.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Lloyd and Anne Eliza Roy.² He married Caroline Emily Peter-Hoblyn, daughter of John Harris Peter-Hoblyn, on 9 December 1886.² He died on 13 April 1919 at age 56.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.¹

     Captain Cyril Gascoigne Lloyd was born on 11 September 1887.² He was the son of Major Henry John Greame Lloyd and Caroline Emily Peter-Hoblyn.² He married Violet Madge Preston, daughter of William Thomas Preston and Alice Mary Stevens, on 12 April 1928.¹ He died on 13 January 1965 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.² He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.² He gained the rank of Captain in the East Riding Yorkshire Yeomanry.² He fought in the Second World War.² He lived at Sowber Gate, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     George Edward Preston was born on 12 June 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir Jacob Henry Preston, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Prescott.² He died on 30 January 1909 at age 47, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He lived at Keys Hill, Wroxham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Hon. Patience Annie Rodney is the daughter of Robert Dennett Rodney, 6th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke and Sarah Singleton.^1,2 She married Robert William Daker Harley on 17 December 1878.² She died on 14 May 1918.²
