     Louisa Caroline Hoare was the daughter of John Gurney Hoare and Caroline Barclay.^2,3 She married Samuel Gurney Buxton, son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney, on 3 September 1861.¹ She died on 1 March 1879.¹
     From 3 September 1861, her married name became Buxton.

     Edward Gurney Buxton was born on 4 August 1865.¹ He was the son of Samuel Gurney Buxton and Louisa Caroline Hoare.² He married Laura Gurney, daughter of John Gurney and Isabel Charlotte Blake-Humfrey, on 24 October 1895 at St. Faiths, Norfolk, England.^1,3 He died on 19 April 1929 at age 63.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1922.¹ He lived at Catton Hall, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Samuel Hoare was born on 1 December 1807.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hoare and Louisa Gurney.¹ He married Catherine Edwards Hankinson, daughter of Reverend Robert Hankinson, on 8 September 1831.¹ He died on 27 October 1833 at age 25.¹
     He was a banker.¹

     Laura Gurney was born on 9 October 1875 at Sprowston, Norfolk, England^G.² She was the daughter of John Gurney and Isabel Charlotte Blake-Humfrey.³ She married Edward Gurney Buxton, son of Samuel Gurney Buxton and Louisa Caroline Hoare, on 24 October 1895 at St. Faiths, Norfolk, England.^1,2 She died on 15 December 1957 at age 82 at St. Andrew's Hospital, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.^3,2
     From 24 October 1895, her married name became Buxton. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Major Desmond Gurney Buxton was born on 4 January 1898.¹ He was the son of Edward Gurney Buxton and Laura Gurney.² He married Rachel Mary Morse, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Francis Morse and Annabel Marjory Haig, on 9 January 1930.¹ He died on 29 September 1987 at age 89.¹

     Rachel Mary Morse was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Francis Morse and Annabel Marjory Haig.² She married Major Desmond Gurney Buxton, son of Edward Gurney Buxton and Laura Gurney, on 9 January 1930.¹ She died on 11 March 1994.¹
     From 9 January 1930, her married name became Buxton.

     Andrew Edward Buxton was born on 3 March 1935.¹ He is the son of Major Desmond Gurney Buxton and Rachel Mary Morse.² He married Barbara Anne Lloyd, daughter of Captain Cyril Gascoigne Lloyd and Violet Madge Preston, on 30 March 1967.¹

     Minna Catherine Kingsford Erith was born on 25 December 1999.¹ She is the daughter of Charles R. Erith and Laura Catherine Buxton.¹

     Barbara Anne Lloyd was born on 2 June 1932.³ She is the daughter of Captain Cyril Gascoigne Lloyd and Violet Madge Preston.³ She married Andrew Edward Buxton, son of Major Desmond Gurney Buxton and Rachel Mary Morse, on 30 March 1967.¹
     From 30 March 1967, her married name became Buxton.
