Harriet Elizabeth Pitt, daughter of Horace William Pitt-Rivers, 3rd Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle and Frances Rigby, on 18 September 1841.1 He died on 25 August 1864, without issue.1

     Hon. Harriet Elizabeth Pitt was the daughter of Horace William Pitt-Rivers, 3rd Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle and Frances Rigby.1,2 She married Charles Dashwood Bruce, son of Hon. Charles Andrew Bruce and Charlotte Sophia Dashwood, on 18 September 1841.1 She died on 18 June 1876.1
     She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.1 From 18 September 1841, her married name became Bruce.1

     Horace William Pitt-Rivers, 3rd Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle was born on 2 December 1777.2 He was the son of Peter Beckford and Hon. Louisa Pitt.2 He married Frances Rigby, daughter of Colonel Francis Hale Rigby and Frances Rumbold.3
     He gained the title of 3rd Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle. He was given the name of Horace William Beckford at birth.2 On 26 November 1828 his name was legally changed to Horace William Pitt-Rivers by Royal Licence.2
