Richard Gubbins and Sarah Shard, on 21 November 1865 at Llangattock, Monmouthshire, WalesG.1 She died in 1902 at London, EnglandG.1
     From 21 November 1865, her married name became Gubbins.1

     Sir Ralph Allen Gosset was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Gosset and Gertrude Martha Daniell.2 He married Arabella Sarah Butler, daughter of Sir Thomas Butler, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham-Clarke, on 31 May 1835.3 He died on 27 November 1885.1
     He held the office of Serjeant-at-Arms of the House of Commons.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)3

     Louisa Charlotte Butler was the daughter of Sir Thomas Butler, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham-Clarke.2 She married Sir James Robert Carmichael, 2nd Bt., son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Carmichael Smyth, 1st Bt. and Harriet Morse, on 18 February 1841.2 She died on 9 March 1899.1
     From 18 February 1841, her married name became Carmichael.2

Sir James Robert Carmichael, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir James Robert Carmichael, 2nd Bt. was born on 11 June 1817.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Carmichael Smyth, 1st Bt. and Harriet Morse.2 He married Louisa Charlotte Butler, daughter of Sir Thomas Butler, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham-Clarke, on 18 February 1841.2 He died on 11 June 1883 at age 66.2
     He was given the name of James Robert Carmichael Smyth at birth.2 He gained the rank of Ensign in the 86th Regiment.2 He held the position of 25th Chief of the Name and Arms of Carmichael from on 4 March 1838.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Carmichael Smyth [U.K., 1821] on 4 March 1838.2 He was resumed by Royal Licence on 25 February 1841.2 His name was legally changed to James Robert Carmichael by Royal Licence.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent.2
