Colonel Sir Edward William Blackett, 7th Bt. was born on 22 March 1831.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Blackett, 6th Bt. and Julia Monck.1 He married Hon. Julia Frances Somerville, daughter of Admiral Kenelm Somerville, 16th Lord Somerville and Frances Louisa Hayman, on 23 November 1871 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 13 September 1909 at age 78.2
