Joan Strangways1

     Joan Strangways was the daughter of Sir Thomas Strangways and Lady Katherine Neville.1 She married, firstly, Sir William Willoughby before 1468.1 She married, secondly, William de Berkeley, 1st and last Marquess of Berkeley, son of James de Berkeley, 1st Lord Berkeley and Lady Isabel de Mowbray, in November 1468.1 She died on 24 February 1484/85.1 She was buried at St. Augustine's Friars, London, EnglandG.2
     From before 1468, her married name became Willoughby.1 From November 1468, her married name became de Berkeley.1 After her marriage, Joan Strangways was styled as Baroness Berkeley in November 1468. After her marriage, Joan Strangways was styled as Viscountess Berkeley on 21 April 1481. After her marriage, Joan Strangways was styled as Countess of Nottingham on 28 June 1483.

     Anne Fiennes was the daughter of Sir John Fiennes and Alice FitzHugh.1 She married, firstly, William de Berkeley, 1st and last Marquess of Berkeley, son of James de Berkeley, 1st Lord Berkeley and Lady Isabel de Mowbray, circa 1486.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Brandon between 1492 and 16 May 1496.1,2 She died on 10 September 1497.1 She was buried at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
     After her marriage, Anne Fiennes was styled as Countess of Nottingham circa 1486. From circa 1486, her married name became de Berkeley.1 After her marriage, Anne Fiennes was styled as Marchioness of Berkeley on 28 January 1488/89. From after 1491/92, her married name became Brandon.1

     Sir George Burrard, 4th Bt. was born on 13 October 1805.1 He was the son of Reverend Sir George Burrard, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Coppell.1 He married Isabella Duckett, daughter of Sir George Duckett, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Floyd, on 3 January 1830.1 He died on 7 September 1870 at age 64 at Lyme Regis, Dorset, EnglandG, drowned while bathing, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lymington between 1828 and 1832.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Burrard, of Walhampton, co. Southampton [G.B., 1769] on 17 May 1856.1

     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.)1
