     Catherine Cornewall was the daughter of Velters Cornewall and Catherine Hanbury.^1,3 She married Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Amyand, 1st Bt. and Anna Maria Korteen, on 18 July 1771.¹ She died on 27 March 1835.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1835.¹

     Velters Cornewall was born circa 1697.² He was the son of Henry Cornewall and Susanna Williams.² He married, firstly, Judith Herbert, daughter of Sir James Herbert, in 1722.² He married, thirdly, Catherine Hanbury, daughter of William Hanbury and Frances Cotton, on 2 April 1737.³ He married, secondly, Jane Bray, daughter of Edmund Bray, in October 1734.² He died on 3 April 1768.²
     He lived at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1722 and 1768.²

     Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 January 1774.¹ He was the son of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall.¹ He was baptised at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He married Jane Naper, daughter of William Naper and Jane Travell, on 26 September 1815.¹ He died on 27 December 1835 at age 61 at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1836.¹
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 27 April 1792.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] circa August 1819, and from 1771, 'of Moccas Court, co. Hereford.¹' He gained the rank of Colonel in the Herefordshire Militia.¹

     Jane Naper was the daughter of William Naper and Jane Travell.¹ She married Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt., son of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall, on 26 September 1815.¹ She died on 13 February 1853 at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1853.¹
     From 26 September 1815, her married name became Cornewall.¹

     William Naper was born in 1749.² He was the son of James Lenox Dutton and Jane Bond.^1,2 He married Jane Travell, daughter of Reverend Ferdinando Tracy Travell, on 5 June 1787.² He died on 28 November 1791.²
     He was given the name of William Dutton at birth.² Circa 1777 his name was legally changed to William Naper by Act of Parliament, under the terms of his father's will.² He lived at Loughcrew, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Jane Travell is the daughter of Reverend Ferdinando Tracy Travell.¹ She married William Naper, son of James Lenox Dutton and Jane Bond, on 5 June 1787.²
     From 5 June 1787, her married name became Naper.²

     Reverend Ferdinando Tracy Travell lived at Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Sir Velters Cornewall, 4th Bt. was born on 20 February 1824 at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt. and Jane Naper.¹ He died on 14 October 1868 at age 44, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] on 27 December 1835, and from 1771, 'of Moccas Court, co. Hereford.¹' He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 19 October 1842.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Herefordshire in 1847.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1855 in the Herefordshire Militia.¹

     Sir George Henry Cornewall, 5th Bt. was born on 13 August 1833.¹ He was the son of Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt. and Jane Naper.¹ He married Louisa Frances Bayley, daughter of Francis Bayley and Elizabeth Macdonald, on 14 October 1868.¹ He died on 25 September 1908 at age 75.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1856 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] on 14 October 1868, and from 1771, 'of Moccas Court, co. Hereford.¹' He was Rector at Moccas, Herefordshire, England.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.³ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1871 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Louisa Frances Bayley was the daughter of Francis Bayley and Elizabeth Macdonald.¹ She married Sir George Henry Cornewall, 5th Bt., son of Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt. and Jane Naper, on 14 October 1868.¹ She died on 2 February 1900.¹
     From 14 October 1868, her married name became Cornewall.¹
