     Reverend John Stephenson Clarke was born on 5 April 1909 at Magor, Monmouthshire, Wales.² He was the son of Dr. John Stephenson Clarke and Grace Annie Hiddingh.² He married Enid Courtenay Manico, daughter of Charles Douglas Manico and Irene May Ellis, on 9 August 1939 at Emmanuel Church, Mannamead, Plymouth, Devon, England.² He died on 9 November 1982 at age 73 at Reading, Berkshire, England.²

     Edward John Stephenson Clarke was born in 1981.¹ He is the son of Christopher Simon Courtenay Stephenson Clarke and Caroline Anne Fletcher.¹

     Annie Seely was born on 11 July 1863.² She was the daughter of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans.¹ She married Colonel Reginald Pemberton Leach, son of Lt.-Col. Sir George Archibald Leach, on 24 May 1884.¹ She died on 20 August 1943 at age 80.¹
     From 24 May 1884, her married name became Leach.¹

     Colonel Reginald Pemberton Leach was born on 3 January 1855.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir George Archibald Leach.¹ He married Annie Seely, daughter of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans, on 24 May 1884.¹ He died on 27 February 1929 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir George Archibald Leach was baptised on 23 May 1820.² He married Emily Leigh Pemberton, daughter of Edward Leigh Pemberton, on 8 August 1844.² He died on 18 June 1913 at age 93.²
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Lilian Seely was born on 18 August 1865.² She was the daughter of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans.¹ She married Colonel Philip Hugh Dalbiac, son of Henry Eardley Aylmer Dalbiac and Mary Mainwaring, on 7 June 1888.³ She died on 24 January 1956 at age 90.¹
     From 7 June 1888, her married name became Dalbiac.¹

     Colonel Philip Hugh Dalbiac was born in 1856 at Paddington, London, England.² He was the son of Henry Eardley Aylmer Dalbiac and Mary Mainwaring.^1,2 He married Lilian Seely, daughter of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. and Emily Evans, on 7 June 1888.³ He died on 28 April 1927.¹
     He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Camberwell.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He fought in the Egyptian War in 1882, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.²
