He was the son of Maria Johann Aloys Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein and Anna Auguste Franziska Gräfin von Degenfeld-Schonburg. He married Olga Gräfin von Puckler und Limpurg, daughter of Friedrich Graf von Puckler und Limpurg and Marie Caroline Adolfine Isabelle Christine Bernardine Gräfin von Spiegel zum Diesenberg-Hanxleden, on 31 August 1898. He died on 8 March 1951 at age 78.

     Olga Gräfin von Puckler und Limpurg was born on 11 April 1873 at Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany. She was the daughter of Friedrich Graf von Puckler und Limpurg and Marie Caroline Adolfine Isabelle Christine Bernardine Gräfin von Spiegel zum Diesenberg-Hanxleden. She married Eduard Viktor Maria Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein, son of Maria Johann Aloys Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein and Anna Auguste Franziska Gräfin von Degenfeld-Schonburg, on 31 August 1898. She died on 14 February 1966 at age 92 at Salzburg, Austria^G.
     Her married name became von und zu Liechtenstein.

     Marie Caroline Adolfine Isabelle Christine Bernardine Gräfin von Spiegel zum Diesenberg-Hanxleden was born on 6 February 1849 at Wischenau, Czech Republic.¹ She was the daughter of Ferdinand Otto Hermann Graf von Spiegel zum Diesenberg-Hanxleden and Rosina Antonia Gräfin von Lützow.¹ She died on 13 January 1897 at age 47 at Merano, Italy.¹

     Johannes Baptist Alois Ferdinand Lucas Anton Josef Maria Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein was born on 18 October 1899 at Salzburg, Austria^G. He was the son of Eduard Viktor Maria Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein and Olga Gräfin von Puckler und Limpurg. He married, firstly, Aleene McFarland, daughter of Charles McFarland, on 29 July 1931 at London, England^G. He and Aleene McFarland were divorced in 1943. He married, secondly, Jean Anne French on 27 August 1945 at St. Johns, Arizona, U.S.A.^G. He died on 5 November 1979 at age 80 at Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A.^G.

He married, firstly, Shelagh Salome Houston Brunner, daughter of Harold Roscoe Brunner and Ethel Houston, on 14 January 1925 at London, England^G.¹ He and Shelagh Salome Houston Brunner were divorced in 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Brita Nordenskiold, daughter of General Bengt Nordenskiold and Dagmar Werner, on 7 September 1940 at Stockholm, Sweden^G. He and Brita Nordenskiold were divorced before 1948. He married, thirdly, Dorothy Haidel on 21 August 1950 at Long Island, New York, U.S.A.^G. He and Dorothy Haidel were divorced before December 1968. He married, fourthly, Georgette Ansay, daughter of Herbert Ansay and Lucienne Legrand, on 19 December 1968. He died on 7 July 1981 at age 80.
     His marriage to Shelagh Salome Houston Brunner was annulled in 1939 in ecclesiastical courts, not having met the lawful requirements of the ruling dynasty of Liechtenstein.¹ His marriage to Brita Nordenskiold was annulled on 26 December 1959.
