He was the son of Francesco Lequio di Assaba and Francesca Casciani.¹ He married Maria Ferrer Lamaison.¹ He married Sandra Vittoria Torlonia, daughter of Alessandro Torlonia, 5th Principe di Civitella-Cessi and Beatriz Isabel Frederica Alfonsa de Borbón y Battenberg, Infanta de España, on 20 June 1958 at Rome, Italy^G. He died on 28 June 1971 at age 45 at Turin, Italy^G, by committing suicide.
     He was created Conte Lequio di Assaba [Italy]te in 1963, by King Umberto II of Italy.¹
