Sir Richard Everard, 4th Bt. was born on 24 June 1683 at Langleys, Much Waltham, Essex, England.2 He was the son of Sir Hugh Everard, 3rd Bt. and Mary Brown.1 He married Susanna Kidder, daughter of Rt. Rev. Richard Kidder and Mary Latham, on 13 June 1706.1 He died on 17 February 1732/33 at age 49 at Red Lion Street, London, England.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Everard, of Much Waltham, co. Essex [E., 1629] in January 1705/6.1 He held the office of Governor of North Carolina between 1725 and 1731.1
