     Sarah Westfield was the daughter of Crosby Westfield.¹ She married Sir William Gordon, 7th Bt., son of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Margaret Sutherland, on 15 June 1760.¹ She died on 2 January 1819.¹
     From 15 June 1760, her married name became Gordon.¹

     Sir John Gordon, 8th Bt. was born on 2 July 1776.¹ He was the son of Sir William Gordon, 7th Bt. and Sarah Westfield.¹ He died on 12 November 1804 at age 28, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant of Engineers in the Honourable East India Company Service, Bengal Army.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 7 January 1804.¹

     Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bayne.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Sutherland, daughter of Alexander Sutherland, in 1727.¹ A contract for the marriage of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland was signed on 21 November 1709.¹ He died on 14 April 1760.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 10 March 1696.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland is the daughter of James Sutherland, 2nd Lord Duffus and Lady Margaret Mackenzie.¹ A contract for the marriage of Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland and Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. was signed on 21 November 1709.¹
     From 21 November 1709, her married name became Gordon.¹

     Sir John Gordon, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland.¹ He died on 24 January 1779, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 14 April 1760.¹

     Sir James Gordon, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland.¹ He died in 1786, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the States of Holland.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 24 January 1779.¹

     Margaret Sutherland is the daughter of Alexander Sutherland.¹ She married, firstly, James Sutherland.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bayne, in 1727.¹
     From 1727, her married name became Gordon.¹

     Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Jean Leslie.¹ A contract for the marriage of Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bayne was signed on 19 April 1683.¹ He died before 10 March 1696.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Lord Strathnaver's Regiment.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1681 to 1682.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland in 1689.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] in 1693.¹

     Sir Robert Gordon, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 1st Bt. and Margaret Leslie.¹ He married Jean Leslie, daughter of Robert Leslie, 3rd of Findrassie and Isobel Forbes.¹ He died in 1693.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] in 1649.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1649 to 1650.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1661 to 1663.¹

     Sir John Gordon, 1st Bt. was the son of John Gordon and Jean Gordon.¹ He married Margaret Leslie, daughter of Robert Leslie, 2nd of Findrassie and Margaret Dunbar, in 1627.¹ He died in 1649.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [Nova Scotia] on 18 June 1631.¹
