     Sarah Westfield was the daughter of Crosby Westfield.1 She married Sir William Gordon, 7th Bt., son of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Margaret Sutherland, on 15 June 1760.1 She died on 2 January 1819.1
     From 15 June 1760, her married name became Gordon.1

     Sir John Gordon, 8th Bt. was born on 2 July 1776.1 He was the son of Sir William Gordon, 7th Bt. and Sarah Westfield.1 He died on 12 November 1804 at age 28, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant of Engineers in the Honourable East India Company Service, Bengal Army.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 7 January 1804.1

     Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bayne.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Sutherland, daughter of Alexander Sutherland, in 1727.1 A contract for the marriage of Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland was signed on 21 November 1709.1 He died on 14 April 1760.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 10 March 1696.1

     Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland is the daughter of James Sutherland, 2nd Lord Duffus and Lady Margaret Mackenzie.1 A contract for the marriage of Hon. Elizabeth Sutherland and Sir John Gordon, 4th Bt. was signed on 21 November 1709.1
     From 21 November 1709, her married name became Gordon.1

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the States of Holland.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] on 24 January 1779.1

     Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Jean Leslie.1 A contract for the marriage of Sir John Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bayne was signed on 19 April 1683.1 He died before 10 March 1696.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Lord Strathnaver's Regiment.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1681 to 1682.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland in 1689.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] in 1693.1

     Sir Robert Gordon, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Gordon, 1st Bt. and Margaret Leslie.1 He married Jean Leslie, daughter of Robert Leslie, 3rd of Findrassie and Isobel Forbes.1 He died in 1693.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [N.S., 1631] in 1649.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1649 to 1650.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1661 to 1663.1

     Sir John Gordon, 1st Bt. was the son of John Gordon and Jean Gordon.1 He married Margaret Leslie, daughter of Robert Leslie, 2nd of Findrassie and Margaret Dunbar, in 1627.1 He died in 1649.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Gordon, of Embo, co. Sutherland [Nova Scotia] on 18 June 1631.1
