     Sir Edward John Webley-Parry-Pryse, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 July 1862 at Llanbadarn, Cardiganshire, WalesG.2,1 He was the son of Sir Pryse Pryse, 1st Bt. and Louisa Joan Lewes.1 He married Nina Katherina Angharad Webley-Parry, daughter of David Kedgwin William Henry Webley-Parry and Nina Katherina Elena de Palatiano, on 19 November 1891.1 He died on 20 October 1918 at age 56, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Edward John Pryse at birth.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 On 3 November 1892 his name was legally changed to Edward John Webley-Parry-Pryse by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion, Welch Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pryse, of Gogerddan, co. Cardigan [U.K., 1866] on 21 April 1906.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cardiganshire in 1908.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of of Cardiganshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cardiganshire.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 9th Battalion, Welch Regiment.1
