Rupert Leonard Eversley Milburn was born on 8 May 1919.1 He was the son of Sir Leonard John Milburn, 3rd Bt. and Joan Katherine Anne Paula Anson Horton.2 He married Anne Mary Scott-Murray, daughter of Austin Edward Scott-Murray and Dorothy Mary Paula Walpole, on 1 April 1944.1 He died on 16 March 1974 at age 54.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign in 1939.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland in 1951.1

Sir Leonard John Milburn, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 February 1884.1 He was the son of Sir John Davidson Milburn, 1st Bt. and Clara Georgiana Stamp.2 He married Joan Katherine Anne Paula Anson Horton, daughter of Henry Anson Horton, on 18 April 1917.1 He died on 17 September 1957 at age 73.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Reserve Regiment Royal Horse Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Milburn, of Guyzance and Ardrew, Northumberland [U.K., 1905] on 16 July 1917.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland.1 He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland in 1928.1
