     Lt.-Col. Caledon Charles Brownlow was born on 20 November 1843.¹ He was the son of Henry Benjamin Brownlow and Sarah Smith.¹ He married Rosalie Munn, daughter of Reverend J. R. Munn, in 1888.¹ He died on 9 March 1925 at age 81, without issue.¹
     He fought in the North-West Frontier.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Staff Corps.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.¹

     Rosalie Munn is the daughter of Reverend J. R. Munn.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Caledon Charles Brownlow, son of Henry Benjamin Brownlow and Sarah Smith, in 1888.¹
     From 1888, her married name became Brownlow.¹

     Anna Brownlow was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Brownlow and Caroline Ashe.¹ She married Colonel Maxwell Close on 14 March 1820.¹ She died on 2 January 1863.¹
