Sir Charles Montagu Ormsby, 1st Bt. was born on 23 April 1767.1 He was the son of Captain James Ormsby and Jane de Gualy.1 He married Elizabeth Kingsbury, daughter of Thomas Kingsbury, in June 1794.1 He died on 3 March 1818 at age 50.1
He was created 1st Baronet Ormsby [U.K.] on 29 December 1812.1
