     Archibald Godfrey MacDonald was born illegitimately in 1849.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Keppel Macdonald, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Chamberlain.2,1 He married Margaret Bosville Macdonald, daughter of Colonel Hon. William Bosville Macdonald and Sophia Keppel.1 He died in 1931.1
