     Sir Andrew Henley, 1st Bt. was born in 1622.1 He was the son of Robert Henley and Anne Eldred.1 He married, firstly, Mary Gayer, daughter of Sir John Gayer and Catherine Hopkins.1 He married, secondly, Constance Bromfield, daughter of Thomas Bromfield, on 20 May 1672.1 He died on 17 May 1675.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth in 1660.1 He was created 1st Baronet Henley, of Henley, co. Somerset [England] on 20 June 1660. He was appointed Knight on 21 July 1660.1
