     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fetherstonhaugh [G.B., 1747] on 18 March 1774.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth between 1782 and 1796.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹
