     Anne Broun was the daughter of George Broun of Coulston, Lord Coulston.1 She married Sir David Dalrymple, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Dalrymple of Hailes, 2nd Bt. and Lady Christian Hamilton, on 12 November 1763.1 She died on 18 May 1768.1
     From 12 November 1763, her married name became Dalrymple.1

     Lady Helen Wemyss was born on 11 April 1729.2 She was the daughter of James Wemyss, 5th Earl of Wemyss and Janet Charteris.1 She married Captain Hugh Dalrymple, son of Sir James Dalrymple of Hailes, 2nd Bt. and Lady Christian Hamilton, on 2 May 1754.1 She died on 1 October 1812 at age 83, without issue.2
     From 2 May 1754, her married name became Dalrymple.1

     Captain Hugh Dalrymple was the son of Sir James Dalrymple of Hailes, 2nd Bt. and Lady Christian Hamilton.1 He married Lady Helen Wemyss, daughter of James Wemyss, 5th Earl of Wemyss and Janet Charteris, on 2 May 1754.1 He died on 11 December 1784, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     John Dalrymple was the son of Sir James Dalrymple of Hailes, 2nd Bt. and Lady Christian Hamilton.1 He married Anne Young Pringle, daughter of Walter Pringle, on 28 June 1774.1 He died on 8 August 1779.1
     He held the office of Lord Provost of Edinburgh.1
