     Reverend William Thomas Wyld was born on 5 July 1805 at Speen, Berkshire, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Wyld and Mary Dyonisia Calcraft.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Martin Atkins on 24 February 1838 at Berkshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of Reverend Hon. Frederick Pleydell-Bouverie and Elizabeth Sullivan, on 30 June 1859.² He died on 18 March 1873 at age 67 at Woodborough, Wiltshire, England.¹
