     Lady Elizabeth Maude Herbert was the daughter of Sidney Herbert, 1st Baron Herbert of Lea and Mary Elizabeth à Court Repington.2 She married Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Gambier Parry and Anna Maria Isabella Fynes-Clinton, on 25 June 1872.2,1 She died on 28 February 1933.1
     On 30 May 1862 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.1 From 25 June 1872, her married name became Parry.2

     Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Henry Herbert was born on 25 June 1857.2 He was the son of Sidney Herbert, 1st Baron Herbert of Lea and Mary Elizabeth à Court Repington.1 He married Leila Wilson, daughter of Richard Thornton Wilson, on 27 November 1888.1,2 He died on 30 September 1903 at age 46.2
     On 30 May 1862 he was granted the rank of an earl's younger son.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1896.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1902.2 He held the office of Ambassador to the U.S.A. between 1902 and 1903.2

     From 27 November 1888, her married name became Herbert.1
