Maj.-Gen. George Wahab was born in 1752 at Balbriggan, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was the son of Thomas Wahab and Letitia Stewart.1,2 He married Catherine Brooke on 25 October 1776.1 He died on 20 December 1808 at Madras, Madras, India.1 He was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Madras, Madras, India.1
