     Admiral Algernon Walker-Heneage-Vivian was born on 4 February 1871.1 He was the son of Major Clement Walker-Heneage, V.C. and Henrietta Letitia Victoria Vivian.1 He married, firstly, Helen Mary Houssemayne du Boulay, daughter of Captain Ernest de Vismes Houssemayne du Boulay and Helen Mary Sutton, in 1912.1 He and Helen Mary Houssemayne du Boulay were divorced in 1931.1 He married, secondly, Beryl Stanley in 1931.1 He died on 26 February 1952 at age 81 at Clyne Castle, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.1
     He was given the name of Algernon Heneage at birth.1 He was commissioned, in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was educated at Stubbington House School, Fareham, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Commander in 1900.1 He fought in the Boer War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1904.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1907.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1916.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1917 and 1918.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1918.1 In 1921 his name was legally changed to Algernon Walker-Heneage-Vivian by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1923.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1927.1
