     Ann Caroline Bligh is the daughter of Admiral Sir Richard Rodney Bligh and Ann Worsley.1 She married Joseph Driffield on 30 May 1799 at Fawley, Southampton, Hampshire, England.2
     From 30 May 1799, her married name became Driffield.2

     Captain Alexander Rodney Bligh Carter was baptised on 12 March 1817 at Holy Trinity, Gosport, Hampshire, England.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Charles Carter and Sophia Holmes Bligh.1 He married Georgine Elizabeth M. Cottle, daughter of John Motford Cottle, in 1869 at South Stoneham, Hampshire, England.1 He died on 3 August 1878 at age 61.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
