     Ann Katherine Louisa Crowder was born on 19 December 1923 at St. Paul, Wilton Place, Knightsbridge, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Sir John Frederick Ellenborough Crowder and Florence Gertrude Petre.¹ She was baptised on 24 January 1924.¹ She married Major George William Smyth-Osbourne, son of Brig.-Gen. George Nowell Thomas Smyth-Osbourne and Gladys Marguerite Porter, in 1953 at Westminster, London, England.¹ She died on 10 August 2015 at age 91.²
     From 1953, her married name became Smyth-Osbourne.¹

     Major George William Smyth-Osbourne was born in 1915 at Tavistock, Devon, England.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. George Nowell Thomas Smyth-Osbourne and Gladys Marguerite Porter.² He married Ann Katherine Louisa Crowder, daughter of Captain Sir John Frederick Ellenborough Crowder and Florence Gertrude Petre, in 1953 at Westminster, London, England.¹ He died on 10 March 2011.³

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Edward Alexander Smyth-Osbourne was born in 1964 at Plymouth, Devon, England.¹ He is the son of Major George William Smyth-Osbourne and Ann Katherine Louisa Crowder.¹
     He was commissioned in October 1983, in the service of the Life Guards.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)² He was Commanding Officer of the Household Cavalry Regiment in 2005.² He was Commanding Officer of the 38th (Irish) Infantry Brigade in 2009.² He was Major-General of the Household Division in July 2013.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 2016.
