Sir William Wake, 9th Bt. was born on 5 April 1768.1 He was the son of Sir William Wake, 8th Bt. and Mary Fenton.2 He married Mary Sitwell, daughter of Francis Sitwell and Mary Warneford, on 1 July 1790.2 He married, secondly, Jenny Gambier, daughter of Vice-Admiral James Gambier, on 22 April 1793.1 He died on 27 January 1846 at age 77.1
He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Wake, of Clevedon, Somerset and Piddington, co. Northampton [E., 1621] on 29 October 1785.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1

Hon. Henry Grattan and Henrietta FitzGerald, on 6 April 1836.1 He died on 29 November 1850 at age 75 at Bushy Park, Inniskerry, Ireland.3
