     Thurlow Augustus Astley was born on 23 March 1858.² He was the son of Sir Francis Dugdale Astley, 2nd Bt. and Emma Dorothea Lethbridge.² He married Henrietta Susannah Hanbury-Tracy, daughter of Hon. Henry Hanbury-Tracy and Rosamond Ann Myrtle Shirley, on 5 August 1891.¹ He died on 17 August 1918 at age 60.
     He was Inspector of Factories.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He lived at Eastlea Court, Frimley, Surrey, England.¹

     Eliza Anne Tyler was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Tyler.² She married Capel Arthur Hanbury-Tracy, son of Charles Hanbury-Tracy, 1st Baron Sudeley of Toddington and Hon. Henrietta Susanna Tracy, on 18 September 1833.¹ She died in 1837.²
     From 18 September 1833, her married name became Hanbury-Tracy.
