     Reverend Charles Ross de Havilland was the son of Colonel Thomas Fiott de Havilland and Elizabeth Saumarez.¹ He died before 1866.¹

     Violet Grace Lafone was the daughter of Henry Lafone.² She married Walter Erskine Stuart-Menteth, son of Sir James Frederick Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 4th Bt. and Frances Octavia Moore Sleigh, on 13 July 1905.¹ She died on 15 October 1970.¹
     From 13 July 1905, her married name became Stuart-Menteth.

     Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth was born on 24 April 1906.¹ He was the son of Walter Erskine Stuart-Menteth and Violet Grace Lafone.² He married, firstly, Marianne Marguerite Cuenod, daughter of Jules Cuenod, on 5 June 1937.¹ He and Marianne Marguerite Cuenod were divorced in 1950.¹ He married, secondly, Edith Pauline Wadsworth, daughter of James Harold Wadsworth, on 2 November 1957.¹ He died on 25 November 1970 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was educated at Hertford College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Queen's Royal (West Surrey) Regiment.¹

     Jules Cuenod lived at Burier, La Tour de Peilz, Switzerland.¹

     Marianne Marguerite Cuenod was the daughter of Jules Cuenod.² She married Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth, son of Walter Erskine Stuart-Menteth and Violet Grace Lafone, on 5 June 1937.¹ She and Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth were divorced in 1950.¹ She died on 14 April 1975.¹
     From 5 June 1937, her married name became Stuart-Menteth.

     Charles Henry Stuart-Menteth was born on 15 April 1938.¹ He is the son of Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth and Marianne Marguerite Cuenod.²

     James Sleigh Stuart-Menteth was born on 29 September 1940.¹ He was the son of Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth and Marianne Marguerite Cuenod.² He married Barbara Richardson on 24 February 1968.¹ He died on 27 December 2016 at age 76.³

     Marie Octavia Stuart-Menteth was born on 10 July 1939.¹ She is the daughter of Major Walter Granville Stuart-Menteth and Marianne Marguerite Cuenod.²

     Commander Henry Alexander Stuart-Menteth was born on 26 August 1912.¹ He was the son of Walter Erskine Stuart-Menteth and Violet Grace Lafone.² He married Penelope Giles, daughter of Digby Giles, on 19 July 1952.¹ He died on 14 May 2000 at age 87.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹
