Sir Martin Archer-Shee, in 1940.2 She and Brigadier John Pell Archer-Shee were divorced in 1953.2 She died in 1995.1
     From 1940, her married name became Archer-Shee.2

Sir Martin Archer-Shee.2 He married, firstly, Mary Henrietta Stapleton-Bretherton, daughter of Frederick Bartholomew Joseph Stapleton-Bretherton and Bertha Mary Philippa Stourton, in 1940.3 He and Mary Henrietta Stapleton-Bretherton were divorced in 1953.3 He married, secondly, Diana Nancy Boyd-Rochfort, daughter of Lt.-Col. Harold Boyd-Rochfort and Winifred Akroyd, on 22 July 1953.1
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.4 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 10th Hussars.2

He married Elizabeth Marion Heron-Maxwell, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry Stopford Heron-Maxwell of Teviot Bank and Adeline Helen Hanbury, on 7 October 1919.1 He died on 29 August 1946 at age 65.1
     He lived at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1

William Henry Stopford Heron-Maxwell of Teviot Bank was born on 1 July 1852 at Kiroughtrie, Kirkcudbrightshire, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Edward Heron-Maxwell-Blair of Teviot Bank and Elizabeth Ellen Stopford-Blair.2 He married Adeline Helen Hanbury, daughter of Osgood Hanbury, on 26 February 1884.1 He died on 23 May 1927 at age 74 at Minto, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.2
