Sir Gerald Hemmington Ryan, 1st Bt. was born on 25 January 1861 at Paddington, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Michael Desmond Ryan and Eliza Anne Allen.3 He married Ellen Amelia Ellis, daughter of Augustus Thomas Ellis, on 23 July 1885 at All Saints Church, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1,2 He died on 27 May 1937 at age 76 at Hintlesham Hall, Hintlesham, Suffolk, England.1,2
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the County of London.1 He was chairman of Phoenix Assurance.1 He was appointed Knight in 1911.1 He was created 1st Baronet Ryan, of Hintlesham, co. Sir Gerald Ellis Ryan, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 August 1888 at Kensington, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir Gerald Hemmington Ryan, 1st Bt. and Ellen Amelia Ellis.3 He married Hylda Winifryde Herapath, daughter of Major Spencer John Herapath and Ada Mary Oakes, on 17 February 1914 at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London, England.1,2 He died on 1 September 1947 at age 59 at 23 Bentinck Street, Marylebone, London, England.2
He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ryan, of Hintlesham, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1919] on 27 May 1937.1

Vivian Desmond Ryan was born on 7 September 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Gerald Hemmington Ryan, 1st Bt. and Ellen Amelia Ellis.2 He married, firstly, Kathleen Frances Helps, daughter of James William Helps, on 20 September 1917.1 He married, secondly, Nanny Slater, daughter of Dixon Slater, on 11 April 1946.1 He died on 25 February 1950 at age 56.1
