James Egerton Howard Monypenny was born on 26 June 1864.1 He was the son of Reverend Hon. Phillips Howard Monypenny and Emma Melasina MacMunn.2 He married Gladys Gwendoline Cranfield, daughter of Reverend Robert Cranfield, on 6 June 1905.1 He died on 10 February 1931 at age 66.1

Gladys Gwendoline Cranfield was the daughter of Reverend Robert Cranfield.2 She married James Egerton Howard Monypenny, son of Reverend Hon. Phillips Howard Monypenny and Emma Melasina MacMunn, on 6 June 1905.1 She died on 27 July 1952.1

Joan Cranfield Monypenny, 29th of Pitmilly was born on 21 June 1906.2 She was the daughter of James Egerton Howard Monypenny and Gladys Gwendoline Cranfield.2 She married, firstly, F/Lt. John Barker Hereward Rogers on 21 July 1931.2 She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral Vernon D'Arcy Donaldson, son of Admiral Leonard Andrew Boyd Donaldson, on 27 July 1946.2 She died on 20 February 1986 at age 79.2
From 21 July 1931, her married name became Rogers.2 From 27 July 1946, her married name became Donaldson.2 She was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as 29th of Pitmilly, and matriculated her arms at the Lyons Court 29th of Pitmilly on 14 October 1957.2 She succeeded as the 29th Monypenny, of Pitmilly, co. Fife [U.K.] on 14 October 1957.2 On 14 October 1957 her name was legally changed to Joan Cranfield Monypenny at the Lyon's Office.2

Mary Beatrice Blackwell Monypenny, daughter of James Robert Blackwell Monypenny, 26th of Pitmilly and Mary Elizabeth Lane, on 7 August 1894.1 He married, secondly, Muriel MacGeagh, daughter of Thomas Edwin Foster MacGeagh.1 He died on 21 September 1951 at age 81.1
