Alexander Louis Courtenay Lumsden was the son of Charles Arthur Lumsden.2 He married Lillian Katherine Sabine Pasley, daughter of Montagu Wynyard Sabine Pasley and Grace Lilian St. John, on 9 September 1919.1 He died on 14 July 1959.1

Alexander Sabine Courtenay Lumsden was born on 14 June 1921.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Louis Courtenay Lumsden and Lillian Katherine Sabine Pasley.3 He married, firstly, Elisabeth Jean de Roeper, daughter of G/Capt. B. P. H. de Roeper, in 1943.1 He married, secondly, Elisabeth Vrena Adkins, daughter of S/Ldr. W. R. Adkins, in 1951.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Moncrieff Cheale, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Robert Cheale, in 1969.1 He died on 21 November 2001 at age 80 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1,2
He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
