Barbara Mary Palmer was born on 22 May 1911.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Eric Palmer and Gwenllian Salier Jones.2 She married, firstly, Godfrey Tearle, son of Osmond Tearle, on 30 January 1937.1 She and Godfrey Tearle were divorced in 1947.1 She married, secondly, James Welch, son of William Lewis Welch, on 19 September 1950.1 She married, thirdly, Rt. Rev. Simon Wilton Phipps, son of Captain William Duncan Phipps and Pamela May Ross, in 1973.1 She died in June 2000 at age 89.3

Godfrey Tearle was the son of Osmond Tearle.2 He married Barbara Mary Palmer, daughter of Sir Charles Eric Palmer and Gwenllian Salier Jones, on 30 January 1937.1 He and Barbara Mary Palmer were divorced in 1947.1 He died on 8 June 1953.1

Geoffrey Herbert Palmer was born on 3 May 1888.1 He was the son of Charles Herbert Palmer and Ethel Turner.2 He married Oenone Florence Mary Molesworth, daughter of Hickman Molesworth and Alice Henrietta Peck, on 25 May 1921.1 He died on 16 December 1978 at age 90, without issue.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was chairman of Huntley, Boorne & Stevens.1 He was director of the Association of Biscuit Manufacturers.1 He was director of Huntley & Palmers.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Berkshire in 1932.1

Hickman Molesworth was born on 23 February 1842.2 He is the son of Sir Robert Molesworth and Henrietta Johnson.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Emily Rutledge, daughter of William Rutledge, on 9 July 1868.2 He married, secondly, Alice Henrietta Peck, daughter of Dr. Ffloyd Minter Peck, on 15 June 1882.2 He died on 18 July 1907 at age 65.2
