Richard Newman was baptised in December 1607.2 He was the son of Alexander Newman and Blanch Irish.2 He married Elizabeth Holdsworth, daughter of Robert Holdsworth, on 12 April 1666.1 He died on 20 January 1679 at age 71.1

Robert Newman was baptised on 11 June 1674.2 He was the son of Richard Newman and Elizabeth Holdsworth.2 He married, firstly, Joyce Lydstone, daughter of J. Lydstone.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Holdsworth, daughter of Robert Holdsworth, in 1715.1 He died in 1739.1
