     Aileen Dickens Bourchier Hawksley was the daughter of Ernest Bourchier Hawksley.² She married Alan William Napier, son of Claude Gerald Napier-Clavering and Millicent Mary Kenrick, in 1944.¹ She died on 12 February 1961.¹
     From 1944, her married name became Napier-Clavering. From 1952, her married name became Napier.

     Mary Helen Napier-Clavering was born on 14 May 1900.¹ She was the daughter of Claude Gerald Napier-Clavering and Millicent Mary Kenrick.²
     She graduated from St. Anne's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She became Colin Powell Napier's adoptive mother in 1942.¹

     Colin Powell Napier was born on 17 December 1937.¹ He is the son of Mary Helen Napier-Clavering.²
     He was given the name of Colin Powell at birth.¹ Colin was adopted in 1942 and Mary.¹ In 1959 his name was legally changed to Colin Powell Napier by Deed Poll.¹

     Edward Gatacre held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Gatacre, Shropshire, England.¹

     Annabella Jane Gatacre was the daughter of Edward Gatacre.² She married, secondly, Major Hon. Charles Napier, son of Francis Napier, 8th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Maria Margaret Clavering, on 2 July 1840.¹ She died on 6 March 1885.¹
     From 2 July 1840, her married name became Napier.

     Colonel Edward Napier was born on 12 June 1841.¹ He was the son of Major Hon. Charles Napier and Annabella Jane Gatacre.² He married Marthe Louise Buddicom, daughter of William Barber Buddicom, on 12 June 1866.¹ He died on 15 April 1922 at age 80.¹
     He was commander of the Cavalry Depot, Canterbury.¹

     William Barber Buddicom was born on 1 July 1816 at Everton, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Robert Pedder Buddicom and Ellin Barber.² He died in 1887.²
     He lived at Penbedw Hall, Flintshire, Wales.¹ He was a mechanical and civil engineer.²

     Marthe Louise Buddicom was the daughter of William Barber Buddicom.² She married Colonel Edward Napier, son of Major Hon. Charles Napier and Annabella Jane Gatacre, on 12 June 1866.¹ She died on 25 May 1918.¹
     From 12 June 1866, her married name became Napier.

     Major Egbert Napier was born on 12 August 1867.¹ He was the son of Colonel Edward Napier and Marthe Louise Buddicom.² He married Evangeline Senechal Dreyer, daughter of J. G. Dreyer, on 20 September 1901.¹ He died on 13 November 1916 at age 49, killed in action.¹
     He held the office of Chief Constable of Norfolk between 1909 and 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹
