     Ranald Macdonald, 18th of Keppoch was the son of Alexander Macdonald, 17th of Keppoch and Jessie Stewart.2 He married Sarah Cargill before 1772 at JamaicaG.1 He died in 1788 at Keppoch, Scotland.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 74th Regiment.1 He also had three daughters.1

     Sarah Cargill married Ranald Macdonald, 18th of Keppoch, son of Alexander Macdonald, 17th of Keppoch and Jessie Stewart, before 1772 at JamaicaG.1
     From before 1772, her married name became Macdonald.1

     Alexander Macdonald, 19th of Keppoch was the son of Ranald Macdonald, 18th of Keppoch and Sarah Cargill.2 He died in 1808 at Jamaica, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Regiment.1

     Richard Macdonald, 20th of Keppoch was the son of Ranald Macdonald, 18th of Keppoch and Sarah Cargill.2 He died in 1819 at Jamaica, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 92nd Regiment.1

     Alexander 'A Maidsear Mor' Macdonald was the son of Alexander Macdonald, 17th of Keppoch and Jessie Stewart.2 He married Sarah Macdonald, daughter of Donald Macdonald of Tirnadrish.1 He died in 1809.1
     He emigrated to Canada.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Glengarry Fencibles.1 ‘The Big Major.1' He also had three daughters.1

     Donald Macdonald was the son of Coll 'Nam Bo' Macdonald, 16th of Keppoch and Barbara Macdonald.2 He died on 16 April 1746 at Culloden, Scotland, killed in action, unmarried.1
     He was tacksman of Inverlair.1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746.1
