     Herbert Penny was born on 11 January 1867.¹ He was the son of James Chater Penny and Ann Bowyer.² He married Carlotta Elvira de Conceciao Forssman, daughter of Chevalier Oscar W. A. Forssman, on 20 December 1892.¹ He died on 14 August 1938 at age 71.¹
     He was founder of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve, Cape of Good Hope.¹ He lived at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.¹

     Carlotta Elvira de Conceciao Forssman was the daughter of Chevalier Oscar W. A. Forssman.² She married Herbert Penny, son of James Chater Penny and Ann Bowyer, on 20 December 1892.¹ She died on 27 September 1927.¹
     From 20 December 1892, her married name became Penny.

     Magnus Herbert Forssman Penny was born on 28 December 1893.¹ He was the son of Herbert Penny and Carlotta Elvira de Conceciao Forssman.² He married Elizabeth le Sueur, daughter of Johannes Swellengrebel le Sueur, on 10 April 1920.¹ He died on 4 July 1984 at age 90.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Elizabeth le Sueur was the daughter of Johannes Swellengrebel le Sueur.² She married Magnus Herbert Forssman Penny, son of Herbert Penny and Carlotta Elvira de Conceciao Forssman, on 10 April 1920.¹ She died on 20 August 1973.¹
     From 10 April 1920, her married name became Penny.

     Errol Forssman Penny was born on 20 March 1921.¹ He was the son of Magnus Herbert Forssman Penny and Elizabeth le Sueur.² He married Nina Vilna Hartdegen, daughter of John Charles August Hartdegen, on 12 January 1946.¹ He died on 21 December 2007 at age 86.³
     He was with the DEOR during the Second World War.¹ He lived in 2003 at Greyton, Cape Province, South Africa.¹

     Nina Vilna Hartdegen was the daughter of John Charles August Hartdegen.² She married Errol Forssman Penny, son of Magnus Herbert Forssman Penny and Elizabeth le Sueur, on 12 January 1946.¹ She died on 14 February 1984.¹
     From 12 January 1946, her married name became Penny.

     Magnus John Forssman Penny was born on 10 May 1947.¹ He is the son of Errol Forssman Penny and Nina Vilna Hartdegen.² He married Karen Denise Vorster, daughter of Gordon Frank Vorster, on 2 June 1976.¹
