Deirdre Anna Louise Methven is the daughter of Colin Malcolm Methven.2 She married John Michael Howard Whitfield, 2nd Baron Kenswood, son of Ernest Albert Whitfield, 1st Baron Kenswood and Sophie Madeline Howard, on 16 June 1951.1
From 16 June 1951, her married name became Whitfield. After her marriage, Deirdre Anna Louise Methven was styled as Baroness Kenswood on 21 April 1963.
