Marmaduke Robert Jeffreys was born on 4 May 1807.1 He was the son of Reverend John Jeffreys and Charlotte Byron.2 He married Anna Maria Benett, daughter of John Benett and Lucy Lambert, on 25 January 1840.1 He died on 10 November 1898 at age 91.1
