     John Badham Thornhill is the son of Henry Badham Thornhill and Catherine Odell.¹

     Captain Ronald Ernest Sawyer was born on 3 June 1883 at Camberley, Surrey, England^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Harcourt Sawyer and Edith Mary Rachel Hanbury.^1,2 He married Mary Thyra Mackenzie, daughter of Osgood Hanbury Mackenzie and Minna Amy Edwards-Moss, in July 1935.¹ He died on 25 October 1945 at age 62.¹

     William Orr was born on 9 August 1983.² He is the son of Major Adrian Orr.¹ He married Hon. Eleanor Clare Remnant, daughter of Philip John Remnant, 4th Baron Remnant and Caroline Elizabeth Clare Cavendish, in September 2012 at St. Mary's, Kingsclere, Hampshire, England.¹

     Margaret Mackenzie is the daughter of Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Findon and Margaret Mackenzie.^2,3 She married Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Gairloch, 1st Bt., son of Alexander Mackenzie, 7th of Gairloch and Barbara Mackenzie, on 21 April 1696.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Harcourt Sawyer was born on 21 October 1848.² He was the son of George Cappelen Sawyer and Mary Rebecca Hilhouse.³ He married Edith Mary Rachel Hanbury, daughter of George Hanbury and Mary Trotter, on 19 July 1882 at Hitcham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.³ He died on 13 December 1926 at age 78 at MAidenhead, Berkshire, England^G.^2,3
     He gained the rank of officer in the 4th King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.² He gained the rank of Afghan War between 1878 and 1879.² He gained the rank of officer in the 43rd Light Infantry.² He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1885.² He lived in 1891 at High View, Castle Hill, Bray, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was Military Secretary to the Governor of the Cape in 1893.² He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the North Staffordshire Regiment.²

     Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Scatwell, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Scatwell, 1st Bt. and Lilas Mackenzie.² He married Janet Grant, daughter of Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant and Janet Brodie, in 1710.² He died on 24 April 1750.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mackenzie, of Scatwell, co. Ross [N.S., 1703] in 1729.²

     Janet Mackenzie is the daughter of Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Scatwell, 2nd Bt. and Janet Grant.² She married Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Gairloch, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Gairloch, 1st Bt. and Margaret Mackenzie, in 1730.¹

     John Royal Campbell lived at Buckfastleigh, Devon, England^G.¹

     Roderick Mackenzie, 7th of Redcastle was the son of Rory Mackenzie, 6th of Redcastle and Margaret Calder.^2,3 He married Hannah Anna Murdoch.² He died on 10 May 1785.³

     Margaret Mackenzie was the daughter of Roderick Mackenzie, 7th of Redcastle and Hannah Anna Murdoch.^2,3 She married Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Gairloch, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Gairloch, 2nd Bt. and Janet Mackenzie, on 29 November 1755.¹ She died on 1 December 1759.¹
