     Lt.-Col. John Cecil Howard-Vyse was born in 1947.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Edward Dacre Howard-Vyse and Mary Bridget Willoughby.¹ He married Jennifer Anne Collin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Geoffrey de Egglesfield Collin, in 1972.¹ He died on 22 September 2013.^2,3
