     Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 January 1916 at St. Martin, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Joseph Hood, 1st Bt. and Marie Josephine Robinson.³ He married Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy, daughter of Joseph Montague Kenworthy, 10th Baron Strabolgi and Doris Whitley, on 30 April 1946.¹ He died on 5 September 2005 at age 89 at Westminster, London, England.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hood, of Wimbledon, co. Surrey [U.K., 1922] on 10 January 1931.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1939 in the 58 Middlesex Battalion, Royal Engineers (AA) (Territorial Army.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1941 in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1950.¹ He was editor of The Catholic Who's Who 1952 edition
