Joanna Magdalena Bolwark was the daughter of Gerard Bolwark.1 She married, firstly, Edward van Harthals before 1754.1 She married, secondly, Edward Montagu, son of James Montagu and Elizabeth Eyles, on 15 April 1754.1 She died on 21 February 1799.1

Edward Montagu was born on 21 February 1717.2 He was the son of James Montagu and Elizabeth Eyles.3 He married, firstly, Ann Wroughton, daughter of James Wroughton, on 16 April 1745.1 He married, secondly, Joanna Magdalena Bolwark, daughter of Gerard Bolwark, on 15 April 1754.1 He died in 1798.1

Gerard Montagu was born on 13 May 1756.1 He was the son of Edward Montagu and Joanna Magdalena Bolwark.2 He was baptised on 15 May 1756 at Theberton Hall, Theberton, Suffolk, England.3 He married Mary Anne Doughty, daughter of Reverend George Clarke Doughty, on 5 June 1785.1 He died on 7 October 1807 at age 51.1
