     Sir Thomas James Dixon, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 May 1868.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Daniel Dixon, 1st Bt. and Eliza Agnew.¹ He married Edith Stewart Clark, daughter of Stewart Clark and Annie Smiley, on 7 February 1906.¹ He died on 10 May 1950 at age 81, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dixon [U.K., 1903] on 10 March 1907.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1912.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1913.¹ He held the office of HM Lieutenant of County Belfast between 1924 and 1950.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Northern Ireland] on 25 August 1930.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Antrim.¹ He held the office of Senator [Northern Ireland].¹

     Elizabeth Arnot is the daughter of John Arnot.¹ She married William Sempill, 2nd Lord Sempill, son of John Sempill, 1st Lord Sempill and Margaret Colville, before 12 February 1522/23.¹
     From before 12 February 1522/23, her married name became Sempill.¹

     Philip Hugh Straker was born in 1949.¹ He is the son of Hugh Charles Straker and Elaine Felicia Peat.¹ He married Charlotte Jane Fairbairn in 1978.¹

     Rory Hugh Thomas Dixon was born on 9 March 1999.¹ He is the son of Hon. Andrew Wynne Valerian Dixon and Karen Elizabeth Straker.¹
