Foster, in 1953.¹ He died on 25 January 2010 at age 85 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.³
     He gained the rank of officer in the Cameron Highlanders.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Corps of Transport.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹
